Discover Fukui, the prefecture's official travel guide, lists the Fukui Cherry Blossom Festival from 21 March to 12 April in 2026, and its Asuwa River guide notes about 600 trees over more than two kilometres in bloom from late March to mid-April, with night lighting and food stalls during the festival. The 2027 dates are not yet published and depend on blooming; the window shown follows the 2026 edition, so treat it as expected.
