About this event
Lake Towada Winter Story is held at the Yasumiya lakeside plaza where Aomori meets Akita, with fireworks every open night, snow slides and banana boats, an ice bar in a kamakura and stage performances from the three surrounding prefectures. The 2026 edition ran from 30 January to 23 February, opening Fridays to Mondays and national holidays only; 2027 dates had not been published at verification, so the window shown mirrors that span, closing on the 23 February holiday.
