About this event

Ouchi-juku, the preserved Edo-period post town of thatched roofs on the old Aizu-Nishi Kaido road, holds its snow festival on the same mid-February weekend as nearby Tadami's, with snow lanterns, igloos, soba-eating contests and fireworks. Fukushima's official tourism site listed the previous edition on 14 and 15 February 2026; 2027 dates had not been published at verification, so the window shown is the matching second weekend of February.
