About this event
The Fukushima Travel festival guide lists the Aizu-Misato and Aizu-Bange bale pulling festivals in early January, held on the same dates every year, with Aizu-Bange on 14 January. Townspeople split into east and west teams and compete in three contests; the winners are said to predict prosperous business or a bountiful harvest.
