About this event
Official dates for the January to February 2027 edition are not yet published; the Nago tourism page listing neighbouring festivals also shows the Motobu period as undecided. The previous edition, the 48th, ran on the Motobu Town official page from 17 January to 1 February 2026 and was later extended to 8 February 2026, at Yaedake Sakuranomori Park, so a mid-January start on the third Saturday is the expected pattern for 2027.
