About this event
The Okinawa Nangoku Illumination fills the Southeast Botanical Gardens with about 4,000,000 lights shaped around tropical plants, lotus ponds and a whale shark. The gardens' official page showed the previous edition, which ran from 24 October 2025 to 24 May 2026, when checked on 23 October 2026. Guide listings give the 2026-2027 season as 23 October 2026 to 23 May 2027, following the same pattern, so the dates are marked expected until the official page updates.
