About this event
Visit Miyazaki, the prefecture's official tourism site, describes the Ikoma Plateau at 540 metres, with roughly 150,000 poppies in mid-April, hydrangeas in June, red kochia in mid-September and nearly one million cosmos in early October. The 2027 festival dates are not yet published; the late September to late October window follows the usual cosmos season, so treat it as expected.
