About this event
About 80 neputa floats of various sizes, including large fan-shaped floats painted with warrior images, parade through Hirosaki accompanied by flutes and taiko drums, in the evenings from 1 to 6 August and in the daytime on 7 August. The previous edition was held 1 to 7 August 2026, and the 2027 dates are not yet published, so the dates shown follow the festival's traditional fixed dates of 1 to 7 August.
