About this event
The official Visit Gifu page lists the Furukawa Festival on 19 and 20 April, the annual festival of Keta Wakamiya Shrine with over 400 years of tradition, designated an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property and UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Yatai floats carry karakuri mechanical marionettes and children perform Kodomo Kabuki on the floats.
