About this event
Kakuzan Park, the ruins of Tsuyama Castle, is planted with roughly 1,000 cherry trees cascading over stone walls up to 45 metres high, and is one of Japan's top 100 blossom sites. The Tsuyama Sakura Festival adds night illumination, stage events and local food stalls. The 2026 festival ran from 28 March to 12 April; the 2027 window mirrors it, subject to bloom, per the Tsuyama City and Tsuyama Tourism Association festival information.
