About this event
The Alpine Route reopens on 15 April every year and the Snow Wall Walk runs from opening day into late June, as described by the Shoryudo official tourism site for Central Japan. The 2026 Snow Wall Festival ran from 15 April to 25 June; the 2027 festival end date had not been published when checked, so the window shown follows the 2026 edition.
