About this event
Shiga's official travel guide gives the main events as the Umanojinji ritual on 12 April, the Yoimiya Otoshi on 13 April and the Awazu-no-Goku boat crossing on 14 April, with seven mikoshi crossing part of Lake Biwa. The 2027 dates follow that pattern and are marked expected until the shrine publishes them.
