About this event
Kochi's street markets have been held on fixed weekdays for more than 300 years. The Tuesday Market runs along Kamimachi 4 and 5 chome, where stalls are laid out over a waterway for about 280 metres. Around 15 stalls sell farm produce, fruit, dried fish and prepared food from early morning. It is the smallest of the city's weekday markets and sits alongside the much larger Sunday Market, which is listed separately.
