About this event
Kochi's Sunday Market has been held for more than 300 years and is one of Japan's best-known street markets. Kochi City's official page lists the market every Sunday on Otesuji, the broad street running from Kochi Castle through the city centre. Hundreds of stalls sell vegetables, fruit, flowers, seedlings and local foods brought in by growers from across the prefecture, and the city counts the market among its signature sights.
