About this event
The Thursday Market is held in front of the Kochi Prefectural Office, below Kochi Castle. Around 65 stalls line about 190 metres of street selling vegetables, fruit, plants, dried goods and prepared food from early morning. After the Sunday Market it is the best known of Kochi's weekday street markets, which have rotated through the week in the city for more than 300 years.
