About this event

Kinchakuda, a pouch-shaped bend of the Koma River, holds what is often counted as Japan's largest cluster of red spider lilies, about five million flowers blooming around the autumn equinox. The Hidaka City Tourism Association lists the 2026 festival as 21 September to 6 October, with a 500 yen entry fee in flower season; the 2027 window mirrors it and shifts slightly with the bloom.
