About this event
The Izushi Castle Festival is held on 3 November every year in the preserved castle town of Izushi, in Toyooka, Hyogo, to celebrate the town's samurai history. Its highlight is the Daimyo Gyoretsu, a procession of about 120 people in period costume, including some 30 men carrying decorated spears, parading through the streets below the castle ruins.
