Cotton Club
Cotton Club is a reservation led music club on the second floor of the Tokyo Building TOKIA in Marunouchi, Tokyo. This sheet gathers the practical facts for a night there from the sources that actually publish them: the club's own terms and reservation pages, its building, and the transport operators.
- Nearest station
- Tokyo Station: JR lines and the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, 3 minutes on foot from the Marunouchi South Exit. The club is on 2F of the Tokyo Building TOKIA, 2-7-3 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku.
- Doors and entry
- The club publishes no standing doors rule. Show times are published per performance in its reservation system. Entry is by reservation name at the front desk (see Tickets and ID).
- Bags
- No maximum bag size or weight is published in the club's terms, its reservation pages or its building listing. The club's terms allow staff to inspect baggage and to hold items until the end of the performance.
- Cloakroom and lockers
- Yes, with limits set by the club's own terms: the cloakroom will not accept cash, valuables, securities, perishables or fragile items, and unclaimed items are kept for one month. The Tokyo Building TOKIA floor guide also marks coin lockers.
- Tickets and ID
- No tickets are issued. Guests give the reservation name at the front desk; online bookers receive an email the day before showing the seat number, and presenting it removes the need to check in. Phone and web reservation holders are identity-checked at entry under the club's terms and cannot enter if their identity cannot be confirmed. Another member of your group may check in if the booker phones ahead with that person's name. Profitable resale is prohibited.
- Not allowed
- No photography or recording during performances. The club may prohibit dangerous items and items it judges would obstruct the performance. People who are intoxicated are refused entry.
- Children
- Preschool children are not admitted. Children from elementary school age to under 18 may enter only with a guardian aged 20 or over, and not for shows starting after 8:45 pm; some shows exclude minors entirely. Minors need their own tickets.
- Accessibility
- Wheelchair users can enter. Guests who have difficulty with stairs or need the elevator are asked to phone 03-3215-1555 in advance for staff guidance; the club may designate the seat area and asks for the wheelchair size in advance, and assistance dogs are admitted with advance notice. No step free route map is published. Barrier-free toilets with ostomate facilities are in the Tokyo Building TOKIA at B1F, 1F, 2F and 3F.
- Prayer and halal food
- Halal food: not published by the club or its building. Prayer: the building operator states that Marunouchi's commercial facilities have no prayer room. JR East runs a prayer room inside the JR EAST Travel Service Center at Tokyo Station's Marunouchi North Exit, a few minutes from the club: open to any faith, room for about two people, with a wudu facility, entered by intercom.
- Last trains home
- JR East, from Tokyo Station on the Yamanote Line on a weekday: inner loop toward Ueno and Ikebukuro, last departure 00:38; outer loop toward Shinagawa and Shibuya, last departure 00:46. Source: JR East's official station timetable.
