About this event
Yushima Tenmangu's plum festival has been held since 1958 and draws crowds to roughly 300 plum trees, mostly white Shirokaga, in the shrine grounds in Bunkyo. The 2026 edition (the 69th) ran from 8 February to 8 March 2026; 2027 dates are not yet published, so this window mirrors the previous edition and should be rechecked when the shrine announces them.
