About this event
Yunishigawa Onsen's kamakura festival fills the Sawaguchi riverbed with miniature snow huts lit by candles on Friday to Sunday nights, with larger kamakura, barbecue huts and snow play at the Heike no Sato open-air museum and the Mizu no Sato snow park. The Nikko City Tourism Association lists the previous edition from 30 January to 1 March 2026; 2027 dates had not been published at verification, so the window shown mirrors that span.
