About this event
Part II of the Grand Van Gogh Exhibition tours Kobe, Fukushima and Tokyo in 2027, covering Van Gogh's career from Arles to his final years with around 50 works from the Kroller-Muller Museum in the Netherlands, among them The Langlois Bridge at Arles, shown in Japan for the first time in about 70 years. The Tokyo run at the Ueno Royal Museum was announced by the organisers (Sankei Shimbun and partners, as published on Taito City's Ueno portal) for October 2027 to January 2028; the exact opening and closing dates have not been announced, so the window shown is the announced months rather than confirmed days. The Fukushima leg of the same exhibition runs from 19 June to 26 September 2027.
