About this event
An exhibition of Japanese miniatures at the Tobacco and Salt Museum, named for the two collectors called Nakada who championed master miniaturist Kobayashi Rekisai. Kobayashi Rekisai (1884 to 1959) began by making tobacco trays and pouch fittings, then turned to miniatures as dress westernised. About 300 pieces of antique dealer Nakada Tonosuke's collection have recently entered the museum, shown alongside the Nakada Minoru Collection, donated in 1991. General admission is 300 yen.
