About this event
A Suntory Museum of Art exhibition on the art of the Lotus Sutra, the Buddhist scripture that teaches that all people can attain enlightenment. Organised around the acts of devotion the sutra encourages, it presents decorated sutras, Buddha statues and Buddhist paintings from ancient to early modern Japan under the themes of building stupas, copying and dedicating sutras, and making Buddhist images. General admission is 1,800 yen on the day.
