About this event

The Japan National Tourism Organization records the biggest of Shirahama's summer displays on 10 August each year, with some 3,500 fireworks over the white sand of Shirarahama and a finale in which a 1,000-metre cascade of fireworks, the Niagara, pours into the sea. Smaller message fireworks are let off on summer nights through July and August.
