About this event
Official dates for the 2027 edition are not yet published. The previous edition, the 59th festival in 2026, was held from Wednesday August 12 to Friday August 14, 2026 according to Takamatsu City's official festival page, with the fireworks display on Thursday August 13, 2026 from 8:15pm to 8:45pm, launched from Takamatsu Port Tamamo Breakwater with 6,000 fireworks. The expected 2027 window follows that August 12-14 pattern, not the older August 13-15 pattern.
