About this event
Visit Ehime Japan describes the Kawairi on 16 October, when about 80 danjiri line the Kamo River banks and light lanterns as mikoshi are taken to Isono Shrine, and the finale in which danjiri surround the mikoshi to prevent the river crossing. The 2027 dates follow the usual 14 to 17 October pattern and are marked expected until the city publishes them.
