About this event
This is the first large touring solo exhibition of picture book artist Chiki Kikuchi, with around 150 original drawings and all of his roughly 80 picture books, including handmade early works. Its centrepiece is a new work made for the show: 30 original panels, each 3 metres high, forming a walk through spatial picture book, shown with wooden animal sculptures. The venue official page gives the run as 7 October to 13 December 2026 with no closed days, open 10:00 to 17:00 and to 18:00 on weekends and holidays, with general admission at 1,800 yen.
