About this event
The Ohatsu Tenjin Flea Market is held on the first Friday of every month except January at Tsuyutenjin Shrine in Sonezaki, Kita Ward, better known as Ohatsu Tenjin after the heroine of Chikamatsu's famous love-suicide play. Around 15 to 40 antique dealers set out ceramics, kimono and curios in the compact shrine grounds, a short walk from Umeda. The shrine's official site carries the market.
