The Naramachi Gango-ji Monzen Marche is held on the third Saturday and Sunday of every month, from 10:00 to 17:00, along the approach of Gango-ji Temple in Nara's old merchant quarter of Naramachi. The temple's official site announces the market as a regular monthly event where creators sell handmade work, food and local goods. This Gango-ji is the Kegon-sect temple in Naramachi, not the World Heritage Gango-ji of the Gokurakubo precinct, and the temple asks visitors not to confuse the two.
