About this event
Megurogawa Minna no Illumination lights the cherry trees along the Meguro River in pink 'winter sakura' LEDs, powered by biodiesel generated from recycled cooking oil collected locally. The previous edition ran from 5 December 2025 to 31 January 2026, with about 390,000 lights over 2.2 kilometres. The executive committee had not published 2026 dates when checked on 23 October 2026; the window shown follows the previous edition's pattern and guide projections.
