About this event
Kagawa's official tourism site records the Marugame Castle Festival on 3 and 4 May each year, the city's largest festival since 1950, with stage events, lion dance and the Mande Gangan Grand Parade around Marugame Castle, one of Japan's twelve surviving original keeps, set on the country's tallest castle stone walls.
