About this event
Kawachi Fujien grows 22 varieties of wisteria across about 3,000 square metres, arranged as tunnels of 80 and 110 metres and a large trellis of 150-year-old trees. During the 2026 peak, from 18 April to 6 May, entry was by advance timed ticket only, bought through the garden's official site or convenience stores, with no on-site sales. The 2027 season is expected on the same late-April to early-May frame; the garden sets exact dates by bloom.
