About this event

Hasedera's scenic path becomes the Ajisai-ro in early summer, lined with about 2,500 hydrangea plants in more than 40 varieties, with views over Yuigahama beach. At peak the path needs a separate hydrangea ticket (500 yen in 2026) on top of temple admission, bookable online in advance through the temple. The temple gives the viewing season as late May to late June; the 2027 window follows that frame and the paid period is fixed each year by the bloom.
