About this event
The Ebisu Grand Festival, known as Ebisuko, is one of Hiroshima's three grand festivals and has been held for more than 400 years. It honours Ebisu, the god of commerce and good fortune, at Ebisu Shrine in the Ebisu-dori shopping arcade in central Hiroshima, and draws roughly 300,000 people. Stalls sell decorated kumade lucky rakes, and Chuo-dori fills with food stalls and stage performances including kagura and taiko. The festival runs on fixed dates, 18 to 20 November, every year; the window shown follows those fixed dates for 2027.
