About this event
The Xmas Illumination at the national Echigo Hillside Park in Nagaoka runs on selected days: 28 and 29 November, 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 December, and 23 to 27 December 2026, under the theme 'Snow Illumination Party'. The Niigata prefectural tourism listing still flags its details as the previous year's information, so the dates are marked expected rather than confirmed. The park's symbol zelkova tree is lit outdoors, with a 4 metre Christmas tree indoors.
