About this event
Convoco Japan and Chotto Matcha host Matcha x Sake Pong Night in Asakusa, an international social evening built around a sake pong tournament, a Japanese twist on beer pong played in pairs. Check-in opens at 18:00, the rules are explained at 18:30, the tournament runs from 18:45 and the evening closes with free social time until 21:00, with prizes for the winning team. Solo guests are paired with a partner on the night, and anyone who does not drink can play with non-alcoholic green tea instead of sake. Advance tickets cost ¥1,500 (about US$9) and tickets on the day cost ¥2,000 (about US$13), sold only if the event has not sold out, with one drink purchase required either way; capacity is around 50 and advance registration is recommended.
