The Bunka Gakuen Costume Museum in Shinjuku presents embroidery from around 40 countries, ranging from Japanese work expressing the four seasons and the refined techniques of European haute couture to the colours and patterns handed down in Asia and Africa. The exhibition runs from 24 September to 21 November 2026.
