About this event
The Atami Plum Garden, opened in 1886, holds some of Japan's earliest-blooming plum trees, flowering from late November. The 82nd Atami Plum Blossom Festival ran from 10 January to 8 March 2026 per the Atami City Tourism Association; the 2027 edition is expected to follow the same early-January to early-March pattern, with paid entry during the festival period.
