About this event
Abashiri City's official tourism site lists the 62nd Abashiri Okhotsk Drift Ice Festival for Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February 2027 at the Abashiri Commercial Port Wharf, held under the theme Save the Ice, Save the Earth. Dozens of snow statues built by local teams fill the wharf, with stage shows, a scallop toss and drift ice activities such as ice kayaking across the weekend.
