The Ohara Festival is the largest festival in southern Kyushu, with a history of more than 70 years. The 2026 edition runs on November 2, 2026 as the evening festival, 18:50 to 20:30, and November 3, 2026 as the main festival, 10:20 to 15:25, with so-odori mass dancing, Ogojo Taiko drumming and marching parades throughout the Tenmonkan district.
