The Numata Festival is the city's signature summer event, with large decorated floats parading the castle town streets from 3 to 5 August, the pattern recorded in Japan Tourism Agency city materials. The 2027 edition has not yet been announced; the window transposes the fixed early-August dates of previous editions.
