Ehime's great autumn harvest festival, where teams of about 150 men carry ornate taiko drum floats through Niihama.

Official dates for the October 2027 edition are not yet published. Tourism Shikoku states the festival is held every year on October 15-18 across the districts of Niihama City, with the main districts running October 16-18 and the Ohjoin district starting a day earlier, the pattern also followed by the 2026 edition (October 16-18, Ohjoin October 15-17). Its 54 floats stand about 5.5 metres high and weigh about 2.5 tons, and the highlight is the kakikurabe, where carriers lift a float together on their shoulders.
