NIIGATA Hikari no Pageant runs from 20 November 2026 to 14 February 2027 along Keyaki-dori, south of JR Niigata Station. About 200 zelkova trees carry roughly 160,000 lights, lit from 17:00 to 24:10, and entry is free. Dates are listed by the Niigata City official tourism guide; the organising committee also ran a crowdfunding campaign in 2026 to sustain the event.
