Ice objects are made by spraying water from Lake Shikotsu and freezing it, at Lake Shikotsu Onsen in Shikotsu-Toya National Park. Hokkaido's official tourism site lists the 2027 edition from 30 January to 23 February 2027, open 10:00 to 20:00 with illumination from 16:30.
